Current mood: curious

MSN news today:

Preacher guy from reality pageant murders his girlfriend.

Hmmm...
When are people going to realize that they can't continue to run around killing their lovers over an unprepared dinner?
And men claim that we females are the crazy ones.
However I've mostly been hearing of psycho women killers who are of the male gender.

I mean obviously I feel the stress of a million pulling ligaments at times,
and, sure, I would like to go a little bit crazy and maybe punch/break something.
But I don't.

So why is it that all of a sudden, in a one-month to two-month span,
four females--to my knowledge, possibly more-- have been murdered by their psycho lovers?
Since when is it logical to settle all disputes with violence? Isn't there the alternative?
Maybe because its some what promising to people that if they kill someone, they go to jail for a few years,
get off for good behavior with probation, and then they're free and no one else got to be with their significant other.
Does that make sense?
Current cases of murder when it was stated by the suspect that they murdered the victim in the vicinity of the victim's property have resulted in finding the suspect innocent....woah...wait...what? Rewind.
Maybe it's time the judicial system becomes more aware of the example they're setting for upcoming generations.
If you let someone off for murder with a slap on the wrist,
others will assume that they will receive the same consequence.
I guess this really is the "land of the free".
I'm starting to conclude that the promised pay off to claim a suspect's innocence is more important to some than the safety of the community.
Do I really want to bring children into such a deranged, greedy world?
Would that be selfish?
